Safety

Safe we invented safe!

The statistics speak for themselves. Over 2 million people have experienced our adventure products in over 12 different countries around the world and we have had no fatalities. We hold and are proud of our 100% safety record.

From our beginnings when AJ and friends were inventing the system they all took the area of safety seriously. There have been no expenses speared in relation to training, professional advise and engaging the right people.

AJ was the key person behind forming a registered standard for Bungy Jumping NZ5848. This code of practice sets the standard for running and operating a bungy site and has been designed to protect the industry in which we operate from cowboys.

In the early stages of Bungy Jumping there were many fly by night operators that did not fully understand what they were doing, and hence because of this injured people causing a major concern for the industry. However since the introduction of these Bungy Jumping standards the number of accidents has dramatically reduced. Unfortunately these standards are not required in many countries, therefore AJ has made these standards always readily available to anyone (even competition) in the notion of protecting the fantastic sport and industry he has created.

All our crew are trained and monitored on a daily basis and we are proud to say that we have the best operational crew in the world.

All activities we operate have what we call the “redundant backup” this is simply a feature which means if the main point of contact was to come away there is a secondary point of contact which will hold the person. The minimum breaking strain of any of our equipment is 2.2 tones. All equipment is logged and checked daily.
